Character NAME: Milana "Blazenova" Dawnstrider.
Character PULL-POINT: During her time in Northrend.
Character AGE: 125, but looks to be around in her twenties.
Character ABILITIES: Blazenova has proven to be better dealing with things in the shadows than gifted with the magical prowess of her blood elven brethren. She's skilled with applying various poisons of different potencies as well as lethalities, which means she knows what can and cannot do with her poisons in battle. That being said, she does have some magical knowledge that goes towards her poisons and she can apply them rather quickly to her daggers when they run out as well as silencing opponents with a wave of arcane energy temporarily to stun their spellcasting.
As she grew up and got stronger, she was able to learn dual specialization, which allows her to be both an assassin and a combat rogue all wrapped in one. Also, she's able to summon a mount to run for her that much faster, which helps to get out of an area teeming with enemies so that she can live once more. Though, that being said, being alive means more to her than just tearing an enemy down, so she'll disappear into the shadows so that she can live to fight another day. One thing that Blazenova needs to be careful of is her health and energy. Most of her attacks take up her energy and she needs to wait for them to replenish, so when she waits, she's open to being struck down by a powerful attack if she doesn't time her attacks just right.
Due to her lineage as a blood elf, Blazenova has the capabilities needed to siphon the magical energies around her or even resist the urge to feed. Though, since she's addicted to arcane energy, she can decide to spend an hour meditating in the morning to resist her distractions. Although, if she's around fel energy or demon's blood and decides to partake in absorbing them, she can stave off her magical addiction for a number of days.
Character HISTORY: The Dawnstrider family began during Year -215, when Beloria met up with a gifted magistrix in the army who went by the name Cristalena Flamestar. As they got together, they produced three kids named Milana, Cedia and Anend and life was pretty well for the Dawnstrider family. Milana's mother and father saw fit to begin the children's training at a young age and wanted to see them, too, become strong mages and warlocks as many high elves had done in their place. Cedia and Anend had a gift towards the priest and warlock path, but Milana was the odd duckling out. Instead of picking up a staff, she picked up a pair of knives and this is what began her training as a rogue.
This, of course, made her parents wonder if they should intervene, but it actually worked in their favor as they saw that Milana was good at incapacitating her targets - small creatures at this stage, of course, and thus they permitted her to go down this path instead of trying to influence her to become a mage. The Dawnstrider family was in peace during this time and it seemed like nothing could go wrong.
But everything changed when theFire Nation Scourge attacked. With the destruction of the Sunwell and Milana's father dying from war, her mother fell into a deep depression that only worsened with her magical addiction being that much more dire. Eventually, she stopped taking care of her kids and this is when Milana took up the mantle of caretaker in the household and defended her siblings as they were not as far as with their training as she was. It was a great deal of pain for Milana to bear as she was suffering, too, but she kept a sunny disposition as much as possible.
As Milana completed her training and the former high elves were now known as the sin'dorei, she talked with her trainer Pathstalker Kariel about a few things on her mind and he helped her decide to take on a new name to protect her siblings and mother by going by the name Blazenova instead. In her mind, if she pretended to be a wandering blood elf and pretended if her family was dead, she could provide them a peace of mind that they would be safe from any further threats when she would go out of Quel'Thelas and the recently built Silvermoon City. She only stayed at this point to oversee her siblings' training and protect them from harm at this point.
When she was sure that she would be leaving her family in a safe and secure state, she wandered to Sunstrider Isle and did what she could there to help her fellow sin'dorei out. By now, Milana was going by the name Blazenova and didn't let anyone in on her secret. Upon the restoration of the Sunwell, Blazenova went back to check up on her family and was assured that she could venture out into Azeroth from this point on with the hopes that things would eventually get better.
She wandered to the Ghostlands and helped the blood elves and Forsaken out there with various tasks, to which she gained exalted status among those in Tranquillien by taking out Knucklerot and Luzran, as well as a number of other notable people and soon went to the Undercity to aid the Banshee Queen herself - Lady Sylvanas Windrunner. Since she was no longer in familiar territory, she was apprehensive about most things, but proved to be a valuable asset to the Dark Lady and learn what had happened to her. As she witnessed Lord Godfrey backstabbing Sylvanas, she became enraged and threatened that he would be next, only to find him gone.
Her next path took her to Kalimdor, more specifically Orgrimmar, the Horde capital. There, she was met with many different races - goblins, trolls, orcs and others who had wandered there too. Blazenova begrudingly aided the orcs and tried to make her business with them short and sweet due to not exactly liking the area. Eventually, her actions garnered the interest of The Shattered Hand and this had earned her a very personal weapon, the Blade of the Shattered Hand, commissioned by Garrosh Hellscream himself. Soon, she went to the Barrens and helped the tauren, goblins and orcs in the area however she could.
The next thing she would do would be adventuring in Arathi Highlands and Hillsbrad Foothills to where she helped the former prince to a fallen kingdom to attain some form of peace throughout the lands he once had. The next step was to go to the Plaguelands and she first went to Andorhal where she met up with Koltira Deathweaver and Thassarian, both of them death knights and both former members of the Scourge. She was wary of helping Koltira out, but decided it was in her better interests to stay and providing her aid where it was needed. There, she bore witness to Sylvanas' cruel torture of Koltira by condemning him to the Undercity dungeons and she knew that the Ranger-General she once looked up to was no more.
The Eastern Plaguelands weren't any kinder to Blazenova as she did help a blood elf and a dwarf become members of the Argent Dawn, however she did take notice that while traveling in Fiona's caravan that maybe, just maybe, the Alliance weren't as bad as she originally thought. The humans didn't immediately raise a blade to her, nor did the gnomes or dwarves they had. In fact, the Argent Dawn was respectable and she didn't mind being in their lands and area. During this time, she helped remake the battle of Darrowshire and saved the spirits trapped within the decrepit town as well.
What ultimately humbled her was her time in the Badlands and Searing Gorge. In the Badlands, she aided Rheastrasza and her goal to purify the dragon eggs in the area and bore this heavy burden that didn't come out until later when she was killed by Deathwing himself for her deeds. Rheastrasza's gift - her very own egg to her - made her think back on the selfless action her father took to protect his people and it made her open up more than she was, as well as try to continue honoring his death however she could.
In Searing Gorge, she assisted the Thorium Brotherhood and was met up with an ogre named Lunk. Lunk was not like any other ogres she had met that would attack her on sight. Instead, he helped her see that not everything needed to be killed - they just needed sense beaten into them to make them listen. His behavior reminded her of her siblings and she was grateful for his lessons. It's here that she went back to her home to see how they were doing and also check up on them.
The next leg in her journey happened in the Outlands to help out Thrallmar. It's here that she saw, and fought, many different members of the Alliance while aiding the orcs in Thrallmar. She took part in slaying Magtheridon and slayed countless Shattered Hand members who strayed from the path. Slaying Magtheridon earned her Nazgrel's favor and praise for a job well done. Her next step was in Northrend, an area she wasn't anticipating as it was nothing but snow and also the area where the Scourge made their base. Here, Blazenova travels the area itself and does the one thing she knows best: surviving.
Character PERSONALITY: Blazenova herself appears to be just like your average, run-of-the-mill blood elf. She's arrogant, haughty, and thinks she's better than you, but that's farther from the truth than one would realize. While she has had a lot of hardships with the precious Sunwell destroyed, her father dying in the Third War and her being forced to grow up due to her mother's depression, she makes sure to be well...herself in the thick of things. Having to take care of her siblings and mother at a young age made her more responsible than someone her age should have been, but it never detracted any from her love to her family. She understands that her family is the most important thing to her and always tries to make them feel safe and secure however she can.
To go deeper into who she is, Blazenova is a free spirit and willing to go where the wind takes her. She aids her fellow Horde members out to achieve their goals and will be more likely to do them if there's something in it for her. This being said, she values her life a lot because she thinks that if she dies in battle, she won't be able to provide the stability of a home to her family and leaving them alone without a caretaker is not an option to her. She would, of course, like to see her mother finally cheer up, although she knows it's better to just let things take their intended course of action.
Although, with this said, Blazenova is suspicious and paranoid of people. She feels like she has to check perodically to see where people's allegiances stand with her and see if they'll sell her out to the opposing faction. This stems from her decision to abandon the name Milana Dawnstrider and instead go by just "Blazenova" instead because she wants to live to an old age and see things get better for her fellow sin'dorei as well as for Azeroth in general.
When someone manages to win her trust and make it known that they won't backstab her, she's a very protective person and is a lot softer than what she appears to be. If they need a hand, she'll give it to them and as long as she sees the other person contributing to matters the best they can, that's what will make her stay around. With this said, she's a very hardworking individual - strong enough to attain respect from all the Horde factions by being dedicated enough to the cause and war effort so that they may be at peace once more.
In combat, however, Blazenova takes on a totally different appearance. In summation, she's a snake in the grass and by using the power of stealth to sneak up on her enemies, she can assassinate them then and there and then disappear into the shadows once more so that she can live to fight another day. However, she always, always, always has a plan B. Should she not be able to stealth effectively, she can go toe-to-toe with a person and fight them off as quickly as possible so that she can live to fight another day. She's also able to think on her feet in times of a crisis and this helps make her a fierce competitor on the battlefield.
Even though she has a lot of things left to learn in the world, she tries to live each day to her fullest as she knows she can become another casualty of war like so many of her kind had become.

First PERSON: [ There's the sounds akin to someone switching hands with their phone or just moving it around. Blazenova's been around technology, sure, but not to this degree. So, one will bear witness to seeing her long ears and hair before she figures things out as best as she can. ]
Leave it to the goblins to make something so complicated--
Bal'a dash.
I was expecting something a bit... less helpful, given our rather uninvited departure from our worlds. But, I suppose they want us to be as prepared for things as possible. My name is Blazenova and if we are to work together, then I shall expect nothing but the best from you all to achieve whatever they want us to do.
That being said, how many priests, paladins and monks are there around? If we are short on them, I can provide my services as a field medic, but the items I have will not last long, so if anyone wants to provide me with their cloth, it would be appreciated as I can begin to stock up for whatever may come our way.
If there is nothing else, I will bid you farewell for now. Al diel shala.
Third PERSON: The cold, snowy tundra of Northrend was certainly a change from the rather warm and comfortable temperatures that she was used to. Inside the fortress of Agmar's Hammer laid a blood elf with a blanket wrapped around her. She was slowly growing used to the elements themselves, but such a drastic change like this was hard to get used to from the warmth of Quel'Thelas as well as Orgrimmar. Though, the blood elf knew better than complain about the temperatures of all things when so much was going on.
She was just a zeppelin's flight away from home, sure, if she missed it that much. And, truth was? She did. She wondered if her mother ever picked herself back up or if her siblings traveled out to Azeroth like their older sister was ready to do. Hm, who knew - maybe she'd run into them here or maybe she should go back just for a bit to confirm her suspicions.
But, that was silly. Blazenova had faith that they'd be safe. After all, they weren't Dawnstriders for nothing, right?
A hand moved up and wrapped around the necklace she had hidden underneath her clothes. It was expertly crafted and it reminded her of her father. He had been the one to give it to her, after all.
"I miss you, father," she mumbled to herself before turning over and falling asleep. Even if this was a hellish area, she at least could have some peace of mind to sleep without being startled and sent into the battlefield once more.
» ADDITIONAL NOTES
Since Blazenova can make bandages out of the cloth in her world, would it be possible for her to bring in some of those in her inventory to make the bandages to help out? As well as, how would the magical addiction be handled in game? Thanks for answering these questions!
